Mick Diener is a director, screenwriter, cinematographer and founder of San Francisco-based Living Fiction Films.
He began making Super 8 movies at age nine, and went on to earn a degree in Semiotics and Theater from Brown University.
As a commercial director, Diener has worked with a host of film, television and music icons including Cindy Crawford, Katy Perry, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cote de Pablo, Alyssa Milano, LeAnn Rimes, Jaime Pressly, Kelly Rutherford, Mariel Hemingway and Valerie Bertinelli.
His dramatic film work includes the 60-minute short feature, TRACKS (1998), and a full-length independent feature, WHICH WAY POR FAVOR? (2003), which has aired on television around the world and is available on DVD from Ardustry Home Entertainment.
Diener has won various awards for his advertising directing, and his independent and experimental short film work has screened at the AFI Los Angeles Film Festival, among other venues. He lives in San Francisco.
